This spicy Mexican-inspired recipe is an absolute must-try. A touch of fire from the cinnamon and cayenne pepper gives these sweet treats an exciting kick. They are perfect for a post-workout boost and totally plant-based!

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats
1/2 walnuts
10 Medjool dates
3 tbsp Sacred Fire Cacao
1 tbsp flaxseed meal
Pinch of salt
1-2 tbsp almond milk

Method

  • Blend the oats and walnuts in a food processor until well combined
  • Add the dates, cacao, flaxseed meal and salt 
  • If needed, add 1-2 tbsp almond milk until a 'dough' has formed
  • Roll the mixture into about 10-12 balls, dusting with cacao to finish
  • Store in the fridge
  • Indulge!
